NSS unit, department of economics jointly observed World population day. Ms. Madhushree, assistant professor in management participated as resource person. Nalanda College of Arts and Science, Perla, NSS unit number 49 has observed International Plastic Bag Free Day in association with Bhomitrasena. Mis. International Day Against Drug Abuse
On the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Perla Nalanda College’s NSS unit led an initiative to educate students about the “Drug-Free Kerala” pledge. Dr. Harish M.S., the Health Officer from Perla Health Centre, participated as the resource person and raised awareness about the health issues caused by drug use.
International Yoga Day
International Yoga Day under the leadership of its NSS unit. A special three-day yoga camp was organized for students, led by yoga guru Sitaram Bhat Mungila. The concluding ceremony of the camp was presided over by Principal Shankar Khandige. During the event, Sitaram Bhat Mungila was honored with a memento in recognition of his contributions.
World Day Against Child Labour Celebration
The World Day Against Child Labour was observed by the NSS (National Service Scheme) students of Nalanda Arts and Commerce College. College lecturer Dhanyashree participated as the resource person. NSS Programme Officer Varshith K. presided over the event. Student Shrilakshmi delivered the welcome address, Anagha proposed the vote of thanks, and Prajna compered the program.
