On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, a Guru Vandana (Teacher’s Tribute) program was held at Nalanda College, jointly organized by Nalanda Charitable Trust and the college’s NSS unit. Principal Shankar Khandige presided over the event and spoke about the significant role a teacher plays in the growth of students, comparing them to a candle that melts to provide light to others. College administrative board member Rajshekhar Perla gave the introductory speech. Retired teacher of Satyanarayans High School, Perla, Sri Ballambettu Ishwara Bhat was honored during the event. NSS Program Officer Varshit K. welcomed the gathering, while volunteer Zinana proposed the vote of thanks. Srilakshmi hosted the program. Teachers, staff, and students were present.
