National Constitution Day was celebrated at College under the joint auspices of the NSS unit and the Nalanda Charitable Trust. The principal of the college, Shankar Khandige, participated as the resource person for the event. In his address, he highlighted that the Indian Constitution was adopted on November 26, 1949, and came into effect on January 26, 1950. He explained that the Constitution serves as the fundamental framework defining the democracy, secularism, and equality of India. He also mentioned that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the Constitution’s adoption, and the occasion is being celebrated as the Constitution’s Amrit Mahotsav.
NSS volunteer Megha delivered the welcome address, and Anuja proposed the vote of thanks. Swathi compered the program, and NSS Program Officer Varshith K. coordinated the event.
