The world population day July 11, 2024 was observed jointly by Department of Economics and NSS Unit 49. College Principal Shankara Khandige presided over the programme and Manjeshwara block panchayath member Shri K P Anil Kumar seated as a resource person spoke about the effects of population explosion and shared his experiences as representative of citizens. Anupama T Assitant professor in Economics welcomed the gathering, Ashalatha P Assitant professor in Economics thanked the gathering. Students and teachers were present at the programme.
