NSS unit number 49 of Nalanda College of Arts and Science Perla organized World tsunami awareness day at college auditorium on 5-11-2021 at College auditorium. NSS programme officer Sri. Suresh K M was the president of the function, the resource person of the programme was Kum.Anusha C H Asst.Prof. in Commerce and Management. Resource person explained the importance of the day and she said it’s not possible to control the tsunami waves but it’s effect can be minimised if we plan properly. She also said that protection of Kandla trees are needed to reduce the effect of tsunami waves. Programme officer gave presidential address. Kum Asha C H was the MC of the programme, NSS volunteer Pradeep II BCom welcomed gatherings , Varun II BCom proposed vote of thanks. All NSS secretaries and volunteers were present.
