On the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Perla Nalanda College’s NSS unit led an initiative to educate students about the “Drug-Free Kerala” pledge. Dr. Harish M.S., the Health Officer from Perla Health Centre, participated as the resource person and raised awareness about the health issues caused by drug use. The college principal, Shankar Khandige, presided over the event. In this occasion prize were distributed to the volunteers who are won in the pencil drawing competition about the topic ‘Say No to Drugs’. Volunteer Prarthana led the prayer, Anagha delivered the vote of thanks, and Sreelakshmi served as the master of ceremonies. The NSS program officer, Varshith, coordinated the event.
