ADMISSIONS OPEN FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2015-16.
Admission process for the academic year 2015 to the first semester UG degree courses, has started in Nalanda college of Arts and Science, Perla which is affiliated to Kannur University and managed by Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Puttur ®.The college is located near Perla check post on the Kasaragod –Puttur interstate highway. The college is offering one PG and Five UG degree courses, which includes B.Com(Finance), B.Com(Co-Operation),BA (Economics), BBA (Travel and Tourism),BSc (Geography- this course is exclusively available only in our college under Kannur University). If students are choosing BSc(Geo) course, they will get job opportunities in Planning, Remote Censing, GIS sector.
Also there is potential gain in the commerce and banking sector for the candidates who select B.Com course. A new course BBA travel and tourism will be started in this academic year. The candidates those who are enrolling to this, course will get job opportunities in the field of travel and tourism.
Various clubs are actively functioning in our college to improve student’s personality and to imbibe leadership qualities among the students. A good number of talented students received prizes in various competitions in the Kannur University Arts Festival.
Management aims to provide quality education to the students with extra curricular activities and mould them as a good citizens of India with social responsibility and commitment.
