Department of Economics in Association with Nalanda Charitable trust was organised Eco Fest on 30th August , 2024.
On this occasion various competitions were held for students ( Quiz, word hunt, eco friendly photography, collage4 making about Echoes of wayanad and poster making )
College principal Shri Shankara Kandige presided over the programme and spoke about sustainable steps should be needed for the development of students life.
Adbulla Madumoole Chartered Accountant seated as a resource person , distributed prizes for winners in various competitions. He motivated the students participations in various competitons and spoke about Economists and thier contributions to the economics, the recent trends in the Economics subject and the real world scenario.
College staff secretary, HOD of commerce Shri Shrinidhi K were present in the programme and said that the relevance and importance of economics in earlier period and present.
Smt. Anupama T Assitant professor in Economics welcomed the gathering. Smt. Ashalatha P Assitant professor in Economics compered the programme. Fathimath Samrath 3rd BA Economics hosted the event. Students, faculty and staff members were present in the programme.
