On January 7, 2026, a Career Guidance Programme was held at College . The event featured Resource Person Dr. Yashas Saipangallu, a Squadron Leader, who is currently a Graded Specialist in Internal Medicine at Airforce Hospital Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Dr. Yashas Saipangallu discussed the concept “Everyone follow the same path, dare to choose something different.” He highlighted one of the least preferred but highly paid jobs with lots of facilities – the Defence Force. He provided in-depth information about the selection process, future opportunities, and extra facilities, and addressed students’ fears and doubts.
The informative and interactive session was attended by NSS Coordinator and HOD of Commerce Mr. Varshith, Placement Coordinator and Assistant Professor in Commerce Mrs. Nayana, senior faculty member and assistant professor in Malayalam Mrs. Veenisha , teaching staff, and students. Mrs. Nayana hosted the event, Anagha (2nd BCom) gave the vote of thanks, and Mrs. Veenisha handed over the memento to the Resource Person.
