An Anti-Ragging Awareness Program was organized under the joint auspices of the District Legal Services Authority, Kasaragod; Taluk Legal Services Committee, Kasaragod; NSS Unit and IQAC of Nalanda College. The program was presided over by the college principal, Mr. Shankara Khandige.
Advocate Kripesh Kadagam, Kasaragod, participated as the resource person and spoke about the physical and mental problems students face due to ragging. He also explained the legal implications of ragging and suggested possible solutions.
Mr. Varshith K, NSS Program Officer, and Mrs. Nayana, IQAC Coordinator, were present on the occasion. Mrs. Vineesha, Coordinator of the Anti-Ragging Cell, welcomed the gathering, while Mrs. Krishnaveni, PLV, DLSA Kasaragod, proposed the vote of thanks. The program was compered by student Ayishath Isana.
