An anti-ragging awareness program was conducted at Nalanda College under the joint auspices of Nalanda Charitable Trust, the NSS unit, and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The event aimed to sensitize students about the negative impacts of ragging and the legal consequences associated with it.
Senior Civil Police Officer Sheenu A.V. from Badiyadka Police Station participated as the resource person. He addressed the students, highlighting the psychological and legal repercussions of ragging, thereby raising awareness about its detrimental effects. The program was presided over by the college principal, Shankar Khandige. Mrs. Vineesha, a lecturer from the Malayalam department, welcomed the attendees and served as the master of ceremonies. Mrs. Ashwini, a lecturer from the Commerce department, delivered the vote of thanks.
The event saw the presence of NSS Program Officer Varshith K., IQAC Coordinator Mrs. Nayana, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students, all of whom actively participated in the proceedings.
